Canteen Procedures


Canteen Procedure
  • Sign on and off on register
  • Wash hands before duties, wear gloves when handling food & use tongs
  • Fill urn and turn on
  • Switch on pie ovens and fill with pies and sausage rolls starting from top shelves, bottom shelf needs to be checked if too hot
  • Turn on switch for hot plates: inside cupboard
  • Fill large pot with water and place on stove for hot dogs
  • Fill deep fryer with oil ½ way not to top ( by committee member only) and turn on switch behind drink fridge.
  • Put out lollies, chips etc
  • Fill drink fridge with drinks
  • Fill sauce bottles for BBQ
  • Bread and wrap ready for BBQ
  • Coffee tin & cups ready next to urn

 

  • Packing away at end of day.
  • Pack all chocolate bars in fridge.All sweets, chips and serving tongs into appropriate cupboards and lock
  • Replace garbage bag and empty garbage
  • Wipe down benches etc, sweep floor and mop floor. Pie oven to be cleaned inside also. Wash up
  • Unplug Pie Ovens, Cook top, Urn, & Deep Fryer.
  • Turn switch off for pump-located above pressure pump in shed
  • Lock  cupboards, roller shutter, toilets, change rooms and canteen door securely.
  • Take full bins to carpark for collection .
