Under 10C

14-8-10 - The Mountains put up a great fight against the Division C Table leaders. Several times our team was in an excellent scoring position and were extremely unlucky not to get a goal on at least 2 of those occasions. As always the Mountains U10C's put in a supreme effort from start to finish.

7-8-10 - The Mountains 10C's defeated Woongarrah 1-0 today.
What a well deserved win the 10C's had today. We had lots of opportunities to score in the first half but didn't quite get there but then early in the second half we scored a well overdue goal. The fantastic teamwork, awesome defence and some fabulous "saves" by the mountains goalies made sure the mountains stayed on top. The whole team deserved player of the match. Well done to every player.

24-7-10 - For the first 10 -15 mins of this game all you could hear from the sidelines was the sound of Gwandalan's knees knocking as the Mountains domainted the play. Our goalkeepers did a brilliant job to keep Gwandalsn's goals score to a minimum. The score indicated how much our team had improved since we last played Gwandalan - they were still too good but not by much! Great team effort by all.

17-7-10 - Mtns 4 Terrigal 0
The boys and girls combined really well as a team. A big effort by all the players again for an excellent result. Passing was professional like. The players played well to instructions

3-7-10 - The Entrance U10C's defeated Mountains U10 C's today 3-2
This game was a nail biter to the very end. It came right down to the line but unfortunately one goal went against us. It was so exciting and the boys and girls all played a fantastic game. A win in their new grade won't be far off!

26-6-10 - A terrific all round team effort considering we had only 9 players. Both teams missed a couple of opportunities. Outstanding attack and defence from the girls and the boys. The future soceroos did what was asked and combine very well
Score: Nil all draw

19-6-10 - Gosford U10C's defeated Mountains U10 C's today 4-2
Fantastic first half from our team with scores even at half time. Some brilliant patches of defence and some brilliant patches of attack but not quite consisent enough to keep the scores even. Some good attempts and once again a bit unlucky for the score line not to read differently.

12-6-10 - After 2 washed out games in a row, the U10c's were keen to play again this week. Even though we have missed a few training sessions, it really stood out how well all members of the team were passing the ball around. This great passing coupled with some really good positional play and 2 goalies who did an excellent job meant our team was a bit unlucky not to have a different score on the board at the end of the game. Everyone is looking forward to next week and lets hope the sun keeps shining!

22-5-10 - The U10 played their first game today as newly graded C grader's and what a great job they did. The teams were fairly evenly matched but Terrigal had strong defence which meant we missed out on a couple of our goals! Our team is looking forward to stepping up to the challenge of C grade.

15-5-10 - The U10 D 's were magnificent in defeat today. Even though they came up against a great team in Gwandalan they never gave up trying and still played well as a team. The mountains had 5 missed goals and the score could well have been different. We were all very proud of how determined our team was - every single player gave their "all" from start to finish.

9-5-10 - Won 6-5
All I can say is .... what a fantastic game!!!! The mountains were leading 6 -3 at half time but the final score may help you understand why all of us on the mountains sidelines were desperately wishing for that full time whistle to blow!! Brilliant effort from everyone in U10's and nail biting to the end. A fitting way to start Mother's Day!!

8-5-10 - Won 5-3
The U10 D 's once again played an outstanding game. Each player did a fantastic job in their individual positions but also combined well as a team. Overall, it was their great team work that won them the match. Welcome back Grahame who did very well in his first official game for the season.

24-4-10 - The U10's continued their amazing winning ways with another fantastic game against Killarney Vale. The teams were evenly matched and both started very enthusiastically. At half time Killarney Vale had the edge to lead 3-2. Our players listened intently to their coach at half time and came out guns blazing in the second half. They were all attacking well and the ball passing was tremendous which resulted in a lot of pressure on Killarney Vale and another 4 goals for our team!! A very determined effort by all our U10's. The team has a bye next weekend so all players will have a well earned rest but we will be back with a vengeance for 2 matches on the 8th & 9th May.

17-4-10 - Mountains 5 Kanwal 2
The U10D's continued their wonderful start to the season. The forwards played exceptionally well and the keepers had a great game as well. It was a very exciting match to watch even if the result doesn't suggest that. It was a fantastic effort by all our players who once again worked very well together as a team for another well deserved win. Looking forward to next week

10-4-10,
"The team started the game 2 players down but more than held their own and led 2-1 at half time.  Only 1 player down in the second half and the guys and girls really swung into action.  Fantastic defence and great team work.  What a start to the season.  Sausage sizzle score for Berkely Vale 8/10!!
